Hostetter Realty was founded in 1974 by Donald Hostetter in Cochranville, Chester County. What began as a small real estate firm focused on selling farms and homes has grown into a relationship-driven company that remains deeply connected to the local communities it serves. As a boutique real estate firm, Hostetter Realty offers a more personalized, high-touch experience—where clients receive tailored guidance, consistent communication, and trusted advice every step of the way. After the untimely passing of Donald Hostetter in 1980, his daughter, Darlene Byler, stepped in to lead the business. In 1986, Donald’s son, Dwane Hostetter, joined the firm and soon expanded its presence by opening a second office in New Holland. Today, as a proud third-generation company, broker/owner Greg Hostetter, alongside Carol Lehman, leads a team of more than 40 agents across three offices—continuing the legacy of trusted, community-focused real estate service.
Hostetter Realty’s reputation for honesty and integrity is well known. The “Golden Rule” has been the overriding principle for the company since its inception. The business was founded as a family-run operation and has remained so for over 50 years. These family values are consistently maintained and are evident throughout the company.
