About Amy Horst
Professional Experience: My Dad is a local builder and I grew up in the business of home sale. I attended college at Messiah and always knew that I wanted a job that would help and make a difference in someones life. I got my real estate license in 2016 and have learned so much in this time. I am proud to be a part of a team here at Hostetter who has over 60 years of experience.
Professional Philosophy: I have a heart for people and a passion for helping others in any way that I can. Real estate combines my love of homes and my passion for helping others through their dream of home ownership. I focus on the goals of my clients, I strive to make them happy, bring them peace of mind and always put them ahead of myself.
Professional Affiliation: Member of the Lancaster County Board of Realtors and Pennsylvania Association of Realtors
Personal Background: Growing up as a builder’s daughter my love for houses came at a young age. I would go to my Dad’s job sites, walk around the empty structures and imagine what the finished product would look like. A day helping my dad was a good day, watching it all come together made me feel like I was making a difference. I loved seeing the looks on the owner’s faces because I knew that this house was special to them. I have seen the time and work that goes into building a house and the pride my dad had in his work. It is a place to call your own, where you feel safe, laugh and create memories. I was born and raised in Lancaster County, owning a home here is a great privilege. I love real estate and am so thankful to have a job with an experienced team at Hostetter Realty.
