Hostetter Realty was founded in 1974 by Donald Hostetter in Cochranville, Chester County. What started as a small real estate firm primarily selling farms and homes has grown into one of the strongest real estate firms in Lancaster County. After the untimely death of Donald in 1980, his daughter Darlene Byler took over the business and has served as the Broker of Record for the company ever since. In 1986, Dwane Hostetter, son of Donald, entered the real estate firm and soon opened another office in New Holland. Since then, Hostetter Realty has continually grown and now operates with more than 40 agents and support personnel.
Hostetter Realty now has the unique privilege of being known as the realtor who specializes in the eastern half of Lancaster County and western Chester County.
With a strong presence in these areas, Hostetter Realty knows the local real estate market and conditions.
Hostetter Realty’s reputation for honesty and integrity is well known in both counties. The “Golden Rule” has been the overriding principle for the company since its inception. The business was founded as a family run operation and has remained so for over 40 years. These family values are consistently maintained and are evident throughout the company. Along with Darlene and Dwane, their sons Doug and Greg (respectively), work along side their parents for the company. A family atmosphere and team concept is at the heart of Hostetter Realty.
As a member of the National Association of Realtors®, Hostetter Realty subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. Beyond these standards, Hostetter Realty always supercedes this code and subscribes to a higher standard.
The team at Hostetter Realty takes their obligation to their clients seriously. When you work with Hostetter Realty, they will do all they can to serve your real estate needs in the most professional and honorable way. We look forward to working with you for all of your real estate needs!!
